A suspect in the theft of cheese was caught in Velikiye Luki

A suspect in the theft of nine packages of cheese from a store was detained in Velikiye Luki. This was announced on Monday, July 21, according to the press service of the Department of the Russian Guard in the Pskov region.

The incident occurred a day earlier at about 15:00 at a retail outlet on Gagarin Street. A few minutes after the store staff pressed the alarm button, employees of the Rosgvardiya extra-departmental security arrived at the scene.

Law enforcement officers detained a 25-year-old local resident who took the cheese out of the sales area. An investigation is underway into the theft, the Pskov News feed writes.
