As of 8:00 a.m. Moscow time on July 21, 118 flights were canceled and 203 flights were delayed for more than two hours at the airports of the Moscow region and Pulkovo. This was announced by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"As of 8:00 Moscow time on Monday, July 21, 118 flights were canceled in total at the airports of the Moscow region and Pulkovo, 203 flights were delayed for a period of more than two hours," Korenyako wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that over the past day, 59 aircraft were sent to alternate airfields. At the same time, the number of passengers in airport terminals did not exceed their capacity. However, in Nizhny Novgorod, this figure was 84%.

In addition, Korenyako said that airlines continue to work in an enhanced mode to return to their regular schedule.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that time restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky airports had been lifted. It was noted that these measures were taken to ensure the safety of aircraft flights.
