Russians named the most recognizable car brands

The Lada brand has become the most recognizable car brand among Russians. This was reported on July 21 by the analytical agency Autostat based on the results of the survey. Respondents were asked to select from a list of 32 brands those that they are familiar with at least by name.

According to the survey results, Lada's indicator was 92.9%. UAZ comes in second place (89.4%), and Haval (87.4%), which entered the Russian market just over 10 years ago, came in third, becoming the most recognizable foreign car.

Other Chinese brands followed. These are Geely (87.1%), Chery (85.5%), Tank (85%), Exeed (82.4%) and Omoda (81.2%). The ninth was Changan (81.1%), ahead of Moskvich (78.5%), which was revived in 2022.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the first sale of a long Lada Aura sedan took place in the UAE. In Dubai, the buyer purchased Aura at a price of 120 thousand dirhams (about 2.6 million rubles in translation). The Russian car turned out to be more expensive than foreign cars.
