Temporary flight restrictions have been introduced at Sheremetyevo Airport
Temporary flight departure and landing restrictions have been introduced at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow. This was announced on July 21 by the press service of aviagavan.
"Temporary restrictions have been introduced in the perimeter of Sheremetyevo Airport's airspace due to the introduction of the carpet mode," the airport's Telegram channel says.
They noted that Sheremetyevo continues to operate flights of both Russian and foreign airlines in the order of priority, and against the background of restrictions, passenger service time may increase. They should be prepared for the fact that due to the measures necessary to ensure safety, the wait may become longer.
The airline added that flight schedule adjustments are also possible, the current status of which should be clarified with carriers through call centers.
On the same day, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at Strigino Airport in Nizhny Novgorod. They were later removed.
