Five people drowned in Krasnoyarsk Region in a week

Five people died in the reservoirs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the past week. This is reported by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Accidents occurred on the Sukhoe and Borodinskoye lakes, as well as on the Yenisei and Nizhnyaya Tunguska rivers. A man who was swimming in a place where there is no official beach drowned in the Usolka River.

Since the beginning of summer, 30 residents of the region have died in the reservoirs. In almost all cases, tragedies occurred in places not intended for swimming.

In the Irkutsk region, a 12-year-old teenager drowned while swimming in a river near a dam. His friend, who saw what happened, returned home and told the adults. Rescuers found the body of a minor at a depth of about 2 m.
