Peskov stated that the projects of the memorandum of the Russian Federation and Ukraine are diametrically opposed.

The memoranda of the Ukrainian and Russian sides are diametrically opposed, therefore a lot of diplomatic work is needed. This was announced on July 21 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"There is our draft memorandum, there is a draft memorandum that has been submitted by the Ukrainian side. There will be an exchange of views, in fact, negotiations on these two projects, which so far, let's say, are absolutely diametrically opposed," he said at a briefing.

According to him, the two sides need diplomatic work to reach an agreement.
