The worker spoke about the mutual assistance of KAMAZ passengers after the accident in Yakutia

The workers who managed to get out of the KAMAZ truck that fell into a ravine in Yakutia on their own tried to free the rest of the victims. This was reported to Izvestia by one of the passengers Dmitry Domolega.

"Their own workers [pulled out], who were on shift, who could, who got out themselves, they pulled out, bent the seat backs, then they pulled me out," Dmitry said.

According to him, the shift workers were taken to the sauna after their shift.

"We were driving, we turned, a sharp turn, a somersault, another somersault. I fell with my back, my head, my back, I fell against the ceiling, I was lying upside down, it turns out," the worker shared.

He noted that he is currently in the hospital. The reasons for the incident are unknown to the man.

The press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported on the same day that a shift bus left the road and overturned in Yakutia. Later, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that 13 people were killed and 20 injured because of the incident. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

After the accident, a day of mourning was declared in the Neryungrinsky district of the republic, during which entertainment and sports events are canceled.
