Residents of Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk Territory) were advised to refrain from swimming in local reservoirs. The water does not meet sanitary standards for microbiological indicators.

According to the administration, water samples have been tested in rivers and lakes. Residents of the city of Yunost are advised to avoid swimming, as well as to pay attention to the warning signs on the shores. This is reported by IA AmurMedia.

In addition, signs "A man drowned here" were installed in Khabarovsk in places that are considered dangerous for swimming. The locations were determined based on an analysis of water accident statistics over the past ten years.

On July 19, two ten-year-old girls drowned in Grozny (Chechen Republic). They swam in a local pond unaccompanied by adults.
