An explosion of household gas previously occurred in an apartment building in Velikiye Luki, four people were injured. Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of the Pskov Region, announced this on July 21.

"The preliminary version is a leak and explosion of household gas in an apartment on the second floor. Four people were injured, one was hospitalized," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

Employees of the gas service, rescuers, firefighters and ambulance crews are working at the site. The fire is localized.
