The Jetour T1 mid-size crossover has been certified in Russia and received Vehicle Type Approval (OTT). This was reported on July 21 by the Telegram channel "Chinese Cars" with reference to documents from the Rosstandart database.

The Jetour T1 is 4,706 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. It is 79 mm shorter than the Jetour T2 familiar to Russians. The ground clearance is 200 mm.

According to the publication, the Jetour T1 in Russia will have two variants of power plants. The initial version of this SUV will receive front-wheel drive and a 1.5—liter turbo engine, which in the version for the Chinese market develops 184 hp. The second engine has a displacement of 2.0 liters and a power of 254 hp. This T1 variant is equipped with a drive on both axles.

The crossover's maximum package includes nine audio speakers, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, heating, ventilation and massage of the front seats, wireless charging and rear differential lock. In China, a 10.33-inch front passenger monitor and a traction device are available as options.

Earlier, on July 18, it was reported that GAC would begin selling GS4 crossovers with all-wheel drive in Russia. The launch is scheduled for September this year. GAC representatives told Izvestia that the GS4 crossover is represented in a large segment, which previously had a Toyota RAV4 model, and many draw a parallel between it and the GS4.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
