Another earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was recorded off the coast of Kamchatka. This was announced on July 20 at the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

The seismic event, as specified in the Telegram channel of the department, was recorded at 20:31 UTC (23:31 Moscow time) 158 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The source of the tremors was at a depth of 58.4 km.

There was no information about casualties, damage, or the threat of a tsunami.
