15 passenger trains heading to and from Crimea were delayed
15 passenger trains to and from the Republic of Crimea are delayed en route. This was announced on July 20 by the press service of the railway carrier Grand Service Express.
Trains are delayed for up to six hours. As of 23:00 Moscow time, three trains were delayed in the direction of Crimea, of which two were to depart from Moscow and one from St. Petersburg. The maximum delay was two hours.
The publication clarified that 12 more trains are waiting to depart from Crimea: seven of them should go to Moscow, and three more to St. Petersburg. In addition, the arrival of the train in Perm is delayed by six hours and in Omsk by one hour.
"The travel delay time may change. We are using all possibilities to reduce the delay time," the message on the carrier's Telegram channel says.
On the same day, the Grand Service Express warned that the departure of three passenger trains to Crimea from the initial stations was delayed. In addition, they reported that four trains heading to the peninsula were detained on the way, and another 12 in the opposite direction. A total of 16 trains were delayed.
