Another earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was registered in Kamchatka. This was announced on Sunday, July 20, in the Telegram channel of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).
It is specified that the epicenter of the seismic event was located 195 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and lay at a depth of 51.6 km.
The geographical service of the Russian Academy of Sciences added that aftershocks continue in the area.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory reported three earthquakes of different magnitudes recorded in the region. The largest of the seismic events turned out to be magnitude 7.6. Later, three more earthquakes occurred.
