Voronezh was flooded due to heavy rain

A downpour with a thunderstorm that hit Voronezh led to flooding in several areas, and specialists from the city's road service went to the site. This was announced by the city administration on July 20.

"The city Road Service is pumping water at several addresses at once," the city administration added.

In particular, we are talking about Otradny and Krasnoznamenny lanes, as well as Cosmonauts and Tsentralnaya streets.

Izvestia's footage shows that in some places vehicles are stuck in the middle of the roadway, and people are forced to walk knee-deep in water.

Experts predict that the rains will last until the end of the week.

On July 15, as a result of heavy rain in the Dmitrovsky district in the north of Moscow, some cars partially went under water. The lobby of the Rizhskaya station on the Bolshoy Koltsevaya Line (BCL) was temporarily closed due to heavy rain.
