Kiev has imposed sanctions against two Russians and three Ukrainians.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree imposing sanctions on a number of citizens of Russia and Ukraine. The document was published on July 20 on the official website of the head of state.
The sanctions list includes Russians Yulia Latynina (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) and Tatiana Aksenenko.
Among the citizens of Ukraine, former deputies of the Verkhovna Rada Natalia Korolevskaya and Gennady Balashov, as well as blogger Andrei Serebryansky, were placed under restrictions.
In the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition "Country.ua" noted that Latynina recently criticized Lviv Mayor Sadovyi for digging up the remains of those killed during World War II, whom he offered to "exchange for living captured Ukrainians." She said that Russia was giving away the bodies of dead Ukrainians by the thousands, demanding almost nothing in return.
On July 8, Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against five Chinese companies. The sanctions will include the blocking of assets on the territory of Ukraine, the restriction of trade operations, the prevention of the withdrawal of capital outside the country, the cancellation of licenses, as well as the deprivation of all Ukrainian state awards.
