Another earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was registered in Kamchatka. This is the sixth earthquake in a row in the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky area, the press service of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported on July 20.

"An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 occurred 162 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky," the seismologists said on the Telegram channel.

The geographical service of the Russian Academy of Sciences added that the data is being processed and clarified. It is also noted that aftershocks continue in the area.
