A woman was injured in a collision on the Volga River in Saratov between a boat and a barge. This was reported on July 20 in the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"On the evening of July 19, 2025, on the Volga River in Saratov, a 49-year-old boatmaster, driving the Amur boat, collided with a barge anchored. As a result, the boat was damaged, and the woman on board the boat was hospitalized with bruises," the department's Telegram channel says.

An inspection is carried out on the fact of violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of water transport. Thus, the investigator organized a set of measures aimed at identifying the circumstances, causes and conditions of the incident.
