The death toll from the crash of a tourist cruise ship in Vietnam has risen to 37 people. This was reported on July 20 by the Vietnamese online publication VnExpress.

"At the moment, 37 people have been found, 11 people have been rescued, and five people are missing," the publication says.

It is noted that the victims were crew members, including the ship's captain. The bodies of the victims were found in the cabin.

In addition, the publication stressed that the search for the five missing is being conducted in a short time. Despite the intensifying storm "Vifa", rescue operations are continuing.

The tourist ship carrying 48 passengers sank on July 19 as a result of a storm. On the same day, it became known about the first 28 dead, including eight children. Later, the number of victims increased to 34. It was clarified that representatives of the border guard service and the naval forces of the country managed to rescue 11 people.
