During the day, rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations cleared 140 courtyards of water, including 32 residential buildings in five settlements of Yakutia. This was reported on July 20 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"During the day, 140 courtyards, including 32 residential buildings, were cleared of water in five settlements," the press service said in a Telegram channel.
It is specified that at the moment 99 courtyards remain flooded, including 62 residential buildings in the Oymyakon, Momsky and Aby districts of the republic. In addition, one section of the Oymyakon regional highway was flooded.
Over 200 specialists and 60 pieces of equipment are involved in providing assistance to the population. Humanitarian aid is provided to the victims.
On July 19, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yakutia reported that rescuers had cleared 167 courtyards in the republic of water. It was clarified that the specialists also delivered food and provided assistance to the population in transporting property and livestock.
