21 passenger trains heading to and from Crimea were detained

There are 21 passenger trains on the way to and from the Republic of Crimea. This was announced on July 19 by the press service of the Grand Service Express carrier.

The company clarified that trains are delayed for up to 11 hours. As of 23:55 Moscow time, 10 trains were delayed in the direction of Crimea. Six of them were waiting for departure from Moscow with a maximum delay of 10.5 hours. Three trains from St. Petersburg were also delayed from 2 to 7 hours. One train arriving in Simferopol from Smolensk was delayed for 3.5 hours.

It is noted that 11 trains are waiting to depart from Crimea: seven of them were delayed in the direction of Moscow with a delay of up to 11 hours. Two trains to St. Petersburg and one each to Smolensk and Perm were also delayed.

"The travel delay time may change. We are using all possibilities to reduce the delay time," the message on the carrier's Telegram channel says.

On the same day, the carrier Grand Service Express reported that 12 passenger trains traveling to Crimea and back were delayed en route. Then the delay ranged from one and a half to seven hours. On July 19, the Russian Railways news channel reported that drone debris had damaged contact networks in the Rostov Region, which delayed more than 50 trains.
