London police have detained 55 activists in Westminster who spoke out in support of the pro-Palestinian organization Palestine Action, which is banned in the kingdom. This was reported on July 19 by Sky News channel.

"The arrests were made in accordance with section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000, which provides for a maximum term of six months in prison," the material says.

It is noted that the protesters gathered in Parliament Square in Westminster with white placards reading: "I am against genocide, I support actions in Palestine." Similar demonstrations were also held in Manchester, Edinburgh and Bristol.

On June 20, Reuters reported that activists from the Palestine Action group infiltrated the Royal Air Force base in Central England and damaged two military aircraft. It was noted that they doused the Voyager aircraft with red paint, and also drove up on electric scooters to the turbine of the aircraft and affected it with a burner.
