He fell off his partner's shoulders while performing a number on bicycles. According to Zapashny, the gymnast felt dizzy. He is currently being taken to the hospital. The source of Izvestia reports that the gymnast may have a spinal fracture.
Earlier, on July 13, an aerialist fell from a six-meter height in the Bolshoi Moscow Circus. It was noted that the athlete was rehearsing a number on the main arena, a swing. While performing the trick, he turned over in the air several times and fell past the mat. After the fall, the gymnast had seizures and loss of consciousness. Zapashny said that the acrobat was injured due to a mistake by a specialist passer, who secures the performers during the performance of the numbers.
