In Crimea, a deadwood fire was localized along the Yevpatoria–Simferopol highway
A landscape fire along the Simferopol– Yevpatoria highway in the Simferopol region of the Republic of Crimea was localized on an area of 40 hectares. This was announced on Saturday, July 19, by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
"The forces and means of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations have localized a fire on 40 hectares in the Simferopol region," TASS reports.
Deadwood caught fire on an area of 40 hectares along the Yevpatoria–Simferopol road earlier that day. The spread of fire is facilitated by wind and high air temperature. In addition, traffic restrictions were reported on a section of the highway.
