Vyacheslav Kozlov has left the post of head coach of HC Sochi

On July 19, Sochi Hockey Club announced the termination of cooperation with head coach Vyacheslav Kozlov and assistant head coach Alexander Savchenkov. The corresponding message was posted on the club's Telegram channel.

"We have made a balanced decision and we are going into the new season with new tasks and ambitious goals. I am sure that with the support of numerous fans, we can bring Sochi back to the Gagarin Cup. <...> The priority of the club and the new head coach, whose name we will announce in the near future, is the development of hockey and the younger generation. On behalf of the club, I wish Vyacheslav Kozlov and Alexander Savchenkov success in their future careers," the club's press service quoted Igor Grigorenko, General director of HC Sochi.
