Three people died as a result of the sinking of a tourist ship in Halong Bay in northern Vietnam due to a storm. This was reported on July 19 by the Lao Dong newspaper.

"Due to a sudden storm, a tourist boat with registration number QN-7105 sank in the area of Dau Go Cave in Halong Bay," the article says.

It is noted that 48 passengers and five crew members were on board the vessel. At the moment, three bodies of the victims have been found. During the rescue operations, 12 people were rescued, and the search continues.

On July 3, the Associated Press reported that at least 43 people were missing as a result of the crash of the passenger ferry Tunu Pratama Jaya, with 65 people on board, in the Bali Strait off the coast of Bali. It is specified that there were 53 passengers, 12 crew members and 22 vehicles on the ferry.
