Klitschko said Zelensky had no contacts with local authorities.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky does not maintain contacts with local governments. This was announced on Saturday, July 19, by the Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko.
"Zelensky does not maintain contact with local authorities, including the mayor of the capital," Klitschko said on the German NTV channel.
The Kiev mayor also stressed that he was in contact "with everyone except Zelensky."
On May 15, Klitschko accused the central authorities of Ukraine of organizing illegal surveillance of city administration officials. The reason for the accusations was a video distributed in the Ukrainian media, in which Klitschko's first deputy Nikolai Povoroznik allegedly organized a banquet on a day of mourning. According to the mayor, this material is part of a campaign to discredit the capital's authorities.
