- In kindergartens in Britain, measures were introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the outbreak of measles
Kindergartens in the UK began accepting children only after parents brought a certificate of measles vaccination, since in 2025 more than 500 confirmed cases of the disease were already registered throughout the country, mainly among children. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper on Saturday, July 19.
"Parents and experts have expressed alarm about the rising number of measles cases, and kindergartens have introduced Covid—style isolation protocols to quell outbreaks," the material says.
In addition, kindergartens have returned to the same level of sanitary control and cleaning of premises as during the outbreak of coronavirus.
On July 13, The Times newspaper reported that a child died as a result of measles infection amid an epidemic in Liverpool due to a drop in vaccination rates. There is no information about whether the deceased baby was vaccinated.
