"There was a power outage throughout the territory of the Zaporizhia region. Work on restoring power supply continues," Balitsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor also asked to be patient and "trust only official sources of information."

The day before, Balitsky reported that nine settlements in the Zaporizhia region were left without electricity after a Ukrainian drone strike on high-voltage equipment. Later, the electricity supply was restored.
