The Russian army destroyed a self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) 2S1 "Gvozdika" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with a Lancet barrage ammunition in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on Saturday, July 19, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"As a result of reconnaissance activities, units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation discovered a camouflaged 122-millimeter self—propelled artillery installation Gvozdika of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the report said.

The destruction of the Ukrainian combat vehicle was confirmed by objective monitoring footage, which recorded the ignition and detonation of the ACS ammunition.
