Expert Khrustalova named the conditions for receiving a discount on housing and communal services

On the territory of the Russian Federation, there are a number of state benefits provided to large families, including discounts on housing and communal services (HCS). This was announced on July 19 by the expert of the NIFI project of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation "Moifinansy.Russian Federation" Lyubov Khrustalova.

According to her, the minimum discount amount is determined by federal law and is at least 30% of the established payment amount.

"In some regions, the benefit for large families for housing and communal services reaches 50%. The amount of the subsidy may be influenced by the number of children in a family, its total income, the level of the subsistence minimum in the region, the regional standard of housing and communal services, as well as the maximum allowable amount of utility bills in the region and the regional standard of the norm of housing area," Khrustalova said in an interview with the Prime agency.

In addition, she added, in some regions, in addition to discounts on payments for water supply, heating, electricity and gas, which are provided in the form of subsidies (the state returns part of the fully paid check as compensation for expenses incurred), large families can receive an additional benefit of up to 50% for major repairs.

Khrustalova said that only those citizens who do not have housing and communal services debts can apply for benefits. There are several ways to do this: by contacting the social protection authorities, the MFC, or through the Gosuslugi website. At the same time, the application itself will be considered within 10 days, and if accepted, the citizen will receive a subsidy for six months, after which a decision will be made on the extension or termination of this support measure.
