In Russia, changes in the list of medical contraindications for driving vehicles will come into force on September 1. In particular, general disorders of psychological development will be added to the list, Leonid Ogul, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, said on July 19.

"It's more about a point adjustment than a fundamental reform. So, general disorders of psychological development have been added to the list of contraindications, which, for example, include autism," he explained in an interview with RIA Novosti.
