Two people were injured during boiler depressurization in Irkutsk
Two people were injured as a result of depressurization of an electric heating boiler in an apartment building in Irkutsk. This was reported on July 19 in the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"A 45-year-old woman and a 14-year-old teenager were injured. They were hospitalized. 19 residents evacuated on their own," the press service said in a Telegram channel message.
It is specified that the explosion occurred in an apartment on the second floor of the house. Damage was recorded in three residential buildings: windows and entrance doors were knocked out, internal walls and the ceiling between the first and second floors were destroyed. There are nine specialists and three pieces of equipment at the scene.
On July 10, the SU IC of the Volgograd Region reported one dead and four injured as a result of pipe depressurization and steam release at a metallurgical plant. It was clarified that the condition of two victims at that time was assessed as severe, and two more as moderate.
