The D-30 crew destroyed the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special operation

The calculation of a towed D-30 howitzer of the Guards tank formation of the Center group of forces destroyed the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), disrupting the rotation of enemy formations in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on July 19 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that the enemy was detected by the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces. After receiving information about the exact location of the Ukrainian militants, the gunners, using 122-millimeter high-explosive shells, eliminated the targets.

It is specified that the fire was conducted with constant adjustments from the calculations of the drones. After hitting the target, the gunners camouflaged the gun and took refuge in the dugouts.

"Moving forward. We work with high-explosive fragmentation. Everything is as it should be," said serviceman Dmitry Litvinov.

In addition, gunner Ivan Tolochkevich said that the calculations mainly work on strongholds and warehouses of Ukrainian militants, because there are large concentrations of the enemy there.

On July 18, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the crew of a Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Air Force had destroyed a temporary deployment point of an AFU unit in the SVO zone. The reconnaissance confirmed the destruction of the target, after which the crew returned to the airfield.
