Russians will be able to transfer their personal mobile numbers to employees of government agencies or emergency services. The corresponding resolution was published on July 18 on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

So, according to the list approved on July 12, citizens will be able to provide their subscriber numbers to civil servants and representatives of emergency services who are on duty.

The document was signed by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and will enter into force on September 1, 2025.

Experts in the field of law and communications told Izvestia on July 16 that the amendments introducing fines for the illegal transfer of a subscriber number, approved by the State Duma committee, threaten Russians with heavy fines and increased control over the use of mobile numbers.
