Yemeni Houthis reported an attack on Ben Gurion airport in Israel

Houthis from the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement attacked the Israeli Ben Gurion airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile. This was announced on July 18 by Yahya Saria, the official representative of the Armed Forces of the movement.

"The missile forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted a high-quality military operation to destroy the airport of Lod (Ben Gurion. — Ed.) in the occupied area of Jaffa using the Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile,— he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Saria noted that this operation was successful, and also stressed that as a result of the strikes, the airport was shut down.

At the same time, the Yemeni movement allows for a sustained cease-fire with the United States after the truce with Iran.

On July 17, Al Masirah TV channel reported a missile attack by the Houthis, which also hit Ben Gurion Airport. It was clarified that a Zulfikar-type ballistic missile was involved in the operation.
