Rosaviation is conducting proceedings with Turkish Airlines regarding the observance of the rights of passengers on delayed or canceled flights. This was announced on July 18 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Rosaviation specialists are investigating the work of Turkish Airlines regarding the maintenance and observance of the rights of passengers on delayed or canceled flights on Friday, July 18. In particular, the circumstances that led to the situation with passengers on the Moscow (Vnukovo) – Bodrum flight are being clarified," the message on his Telegram channel says.

He clarified that a notification is being prepared to the management of the Turkish airline about the inadmissibility of violations of passengers' rights on flights to or from the Russian Federation. The issue of a possible reduction in the number of flights operated by Turkish Airlines beyond the agreements between the aviation authorities of the two countries is also being discussed.

On June 14, the Federal Air Transport Agency took control of the situation with the loss of Turkish Airlines luggage of Russians on several flights between Antalya and Vnukovo. Earlier, information spread online about hundreds of Russian tourists who arrived in Moscow from Antalya without luggage.
