Air defense systems shot down another unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that was flying towards Moscow. This was announced on July 18 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense has stopped another attempt to attack Moscow by an enemy drone," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
