In summer, because of the hot weather, you want to eat less, but you should not starve during the day. Nutritionist Victoria Govorushko told about this on Friday, July 18.

According to the expert, in winter you want something hot and satisfying, because when food is digested, the body's temperature rises, that is, the stomach needs to be warmed up from the inside.

"And in the heat it's not necessary, so you don't have to force yourself to eat, but there is a risk that a breakdown will happen at night and you will eat everything. This is the danger of accumulated hunger — all the food that is eaten goes into fat. Therefore, you can't drink only water in the summer," she explained in an interview with Radio 1.

The nutritionist expressed the opinion that if you eat with a slight feeling of hunger, you will never gain weight.

Govorushko also added that it is undesirable to get carried away with coffee in the summer heat, because this drink removes water from the body, writes Moscow 24.

"It is better to drink regular water, at least one and a half liters," she concluded.
