Volunteers of the "Movement of the first" brought help for children to Kurakhovo
Volunteers of the Movement of the First delivered a shipment of humanitarian aid for children to the city of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Denis Chernobai, chairman of the volunteer organization in the DPR, told Izvestia about this on July 18.
"Gifts from the movement — backpacks, stationery sets, books, sweets, decorations — in general, everything there is to brighten up their leisure time, make life a little brighter, to show that we are already with them, that we will never let them go," said the volunteer..
Chernobai noted that there are 11 families with children in the city who refuse to leave their homes. According to him, the settlement is gradually returning to a peaceful life — there is already light and communication, the issue with the Internet is being resolved.
Earlier, on Russia Day on June 12, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation distributed humanitarian aid to residents of the Kursk region. The Russian soldiers provided everything they needed — stew, cereals, condensed milk and hygiene products.
