A children's health camp was closed in the Leningrad region due to an infectious disease among the staff. This was announced on July 18 by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
"In connection with the registration of a case of an infectious disease among the staff of DOL VOENMEH <...>, restrictive measures have been introduced with the closure of the camp," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the exact number of cases has not yet been reported. In addition, the department added that a sanitary and epidemiological investigation is currently underway.
Earlier that day, an outbreak of acute intestinal infection was detected in the children's health camp "Eaglet" in the Pugachevsky district of the Saratov region. It was noted that the specialists took samples of drinking water and water from open reservoirs, as well as samples of food raw materials, foodstuffs and ready meals.
