BTS group released their first live album
The live album by one of the most popular South Korean pop groups and the global phenomenon BTS, Permission to Dance On Stage, topped the chart on Russian iTunes on the premiere day, beating, for example, the new "We are Love" by Sergey Lazarev and Bratland by rapper Macan. This is the band's first live compilation in its 12-year history. The release took place on July 18. It includes 22 BTS tracks recorded during the eponymous tour in 2021-2022. Among them are Dynamite, which in 2020 made the boy band the first Korean band to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as Butter, Fake Love, Life Goes On and other familiar hits.
"The guys made a real anthology not only with a new musical stylization of past hits, but also with a concert sound so that we could feel like we were at a real concert, and maybe even have a rehearsal and preparation for their future tour," the author of the telegram channel about dramas and Korean music explained to Izvestia. pop culture eat, sleep & kdrama by Jan Felton.

This is BTS' first musical gift to the ARMY (as the band's fans, who represent one of the largest fandoms in the world, are called), after all seven band members returned from the army. In 2022, it was announced that the team was suspending their joint path in order to complete compulsory military service, which lasts from 18 to 21 months in the country, depending on the type of military. The last of the idols was discharged at the end of June.
"I'm afraid to imagine how much the tickets will cost"
In early July, the young men reappeared in full in front of the public for the first time after a pause — they conducted an online broadcast and promised to present new material in 2026, with which the band will then embark on a world tour.
— I think there are many more surprises waiting for us before their joint comeback, including the world solo tours of each participant. J Hope has already gone on tour, Jin is finishing up now, and there are rumors that Jeongguk will be next. Everyone goes on a world tour, and the end will be their concert together after the comeback. I'm even afraid to imagine how much the tickets will cost. According to the experience of their solo concerts, a VIP area for a concert (in South Korea) will cost from 12 thousand rubles. But this is the case if you manage to snatch a ticket at the sales, which in reality is very difficult, since they are disassembled in a matter of minutes. For resellers, the price will start from 150 thousand rubles (not for the best place) and go on indefinitely," Yana Felton told Izvestia.
According to Izvestia's source in the concert industry, several Russian promoters have been negotiating a BTS concert in Russia, but so far there is no chance of that.
BTS debuted in 2013. The group has repeatedly reached the Billboard leaders, in 2019 it was among the hundred highest-paid celebrities according to Forbes, and became the first k-pop band to be nominated for a Grammy, and this happened five times. In particular, in 2021 — for Dynamite in the category "Best Pop performance by a duo/group". The band's previous albums sold millions of copies. The band members promised to start working on new material this month. According to them, it will reflect the thoughts and ideas of everyone, and the approach to its creation will be with the same mindset as at the beginning of the journey.
