Demob Album: BTS has released a new compilation album after a long break

One of the most popular k-pop groups BTS is preparing for a comeback. The joint work of the team members was temporarily on pause while they served in the army. On July 18, the musicians made their first musical gift to their numerous fans after demobilization — they released the live album Permission to Dance On Stage. The compilation topped the iTunes chart in Russia on the day of its premiere. By next year, the band has already started preparing new material, with which they plan to go on tour. BTS group released their first live album

The live album by one of the most popular South Korean pop groups and the global phenomenon BTS, Permission to Dance On Stage, topped the chart on Russian iTunes on the premiere day, beating, for example, the new "We are Love" by Sergey Lazarev and Bratland by rapper Macan. This is the band's first live compilation in its 12-year history. The release took place on July 18. It includes 22 BTS tracks recorded during the eponymous tour in 2021-2022. Among them are Dynamite, which in 2020 made the boy band the first Korean band to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as Butter, Fake Love, Life Goes On and other familiar hits.

This is BTS' first musical gift to the ARMY (as the band's fans, who represent one of the largest fandoms in the world, are called), after all seven band members returned from the army. In 2022, it was announced that the team was suspending their joint path in order to complete compulsory military service, which lasts from 18 to 21 months in the country, depending on the type of military. The last of the idols was discharged at the end of June.

In early July, the young men reappeared in full in front of the public for the first time after a pause — they conducted an online broadcast and promised to present new material in 2026, with which the band will then embark on a world tour.

According to Izvestia's source in the concert industry, several Russian promoters have been negotiating a BTS concert in Russia, but so far there is no chance of that.

BTS debuted in 2013. The group has repeatedly reached the Billboard leaders, in 2019 it was among the hundred highest-paid celebrities according to Forbes, and became the first k-pop band to be nominated for a Grammy, and this happened five times.
