Passengers and crew of the first flight to Gelendzhik shared their impressions of the flight

Everyone was happy with the first flight from Moscow to Gelendzhik in three years, because before that they had to travel to the resort city by car. Oleg, one of the passengers on the plane, told Izvestia about this on Friday, July 18.

"As soon as we heard that there was a first flight, everyone was happy, they were just happy. We've been traveling to Gelendzhik for 10 years in a row, and we've lured all our friends away," said the passenger.

Andrey Krakhmalev, the flight crew commander, noted that the flight required special preparation, as the routes to Gelendzhik had not been operated for a long time.

"First of all, it's interesting. We have every crew prepared. I am ready to complete any task at any time," he added.

Senior flight attendant Valeria Kladneva added that the first flight was "accompanied by special excitement." She also recalled the tradition of welcoming the first plane with a water arch, which symbolizes the ceremonial part.

The aircraft received this coloring in 2018, it was timed to coincide with the 95th anniversary of Aeroflot.
