On July 18, the Governor of the Vladimir Region, Alexander Avdeev, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, invited him to see the restored icon of the Mother of God of Bogolyubskaya.

"If you ever have the opportunity to look at this relic… Because of the condition it was in, and now the restorers have done, in general, a miracle," he said.
