Western military installations in Ukraine are a legitimate target of the Russian Armed Forces. This was announced on July 18 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov .
"Any military facilities on the territory of Ukraine are a legitimate target for our military," Peskov said at a briefing, commenting on whether Russia plans to strike military facilities of Western countries involved in attacks on Russian territory.
On the eve of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Moscow has the right to strike at military installations of countries that allow Ukraine to strike its weapons deep into Russia. She also stressed that in the event of a further escalation of the Ukrainian conflict, the Russian side would respond "decisively and in a mirror manner."
