Russia intends to create a digital profile of a young man

Russia is planning to launch a unified digital profile for schoolchildren, students and young professionals. This was announced on Friday, July 17, by Artem Metelev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy.

According to him, the government gave the order to create a digital circuit. Different departments will be responsible for individual parts of the profile: the Ministry of Education will deal with information about students, the Ministry of Labor — information about employees, the Ministry of Education and Science — about students, and Rosmolodezh — about youth in general. All the data will be combined by the Ministry of Finance.

"It will be, if you like, a portfolio consisting of various information about a person: which Olympiads he won, where he studied, what knowledge he gained, what projects he implemented, what competitions he participated in, whether he is a volunteer, donor, mentor,— RT quotes Metelev as saying.

He added that in the future, with the help of such a profile, it will be possible to enroll in universities, receive dormitories, participate in grants and receive personal offers for study and work.
