A civilian injured after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Gorlovka has died.

A civilian injured in an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Gorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), on July 16, died from his injuries. This was announced on July 18 by the mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko.

"A civilian wounded as a result of the night shelling of the center of Gorlovka on July 16, 2025 by the VFU died from injuries incompatible with life," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Prikhodko also expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased.

On July 16, three civilians were injured in Gorlovka due to strikes on the city. The local city hospital was also significantly damaged.
