As a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) injured two people in the Kaluga region. This was announced on Friday, July 18, by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha.

"In the Kirovsky district, in one of the settlements, as a result of the fall of a UAV, the glazing of a multi-storey building and three cars were damaged. A local resident suffered a limb injury...> Also, in the Ludinovsky district, a truck was damaged as a result of a UAV crash, and the driver was cut by glass fragments," the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.

In addition, Shapsha instructed the heads of the administrations of the Kirovsky and Lyudinovsky districts to promptly assess the damage caused and provide assistance to the affected residents. In total, nine UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed over the region.

Shapsha reported on July 17 that a teenage girl was injured in the Kaluga region as a result of the fall of debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle on a two-story house. In addition, a temporary evacuation was carried out in the house.
