Russian troops liberated 10 settlements in a week

In a week, the Russian Armed Forces liberated 10 settlements in the area of the special military operation. This was announced on July 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"During the week, units of the North group of forces liberated the village of Degtyarnoye in the Kharkiv region," the department's Telegram channel says.

Units of the southern group of forces also continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlement of Petrovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The group of troops "Center" knocked out the enemy from Nikolaevka, Mayak and Popov Yar in the DPR.

As noted by "Gazeta.Ru", the greatest advance was noted by the Vostok military group, which took control of the villages of Karl Marx, Voskresenka and Novokhatskoye in the DPR, as well as Malinovka in the Zaporizhia region. The Dnepr Group of troops liberated Kamenskoye in the Zaporizhia region.

Taking the village under control allows us to reach the border of the republic with the Dnipropetrovsk region.

On July 17, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said that the Russian Armed Forces were confidently advancing in the Orekhovo direction. He thanked the servicemen for their loyalty to military duty and expressed confidence that they would continue to serve Russia with honor and "reliably ensure its security."
