Nine Anapa beaches were operating despite the official ban

In Anapa, despite the current ban, several beaches of the resort continued to be active. The ban was imposed due to the consequences of the oil spill.

A group of employees of the mayor's office, the police and the rescue department conducted a raid and found nine beaches operating illegally in a dangerous area, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations.

Fines ranging from 100 to 300 thousand rubles are provided for such violations. Administrative protocols have been drawn up for legal entities. The city administration terminated the contracts with the users of the three beach areas where violations were found.

At the end of June, it was reported that small emissions of fuel oil were detected on the Anapa coast after the accident with the wreck of the tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 in December last year. The cleaning work was carried out on the Central beach of Anapa, as well as near the coastline of the village of Dzhemete.
