According to the newspaper, Trump is considering three options for using the island. The most expensive of them involves the construction of a "super-strict regime" prison complex with the complete demolition of old buildings and the construction of all facilities from scratch.
Sources note that a more modest project is also being discussed — the construction of a reduced prison for $ 1 billion or the transfer of the project to private contractors, but this option is considered unlikely.
